This would been an ideal platform to introduce ileague 2 & state league champs (where state league exists& give chance to runners up if champion is already in fed cup) to big time football & host the big clubs. Would also have gauranteed crowds.

Hope AIFF keeps the logistic issues in ther mind for BFC & Mohun Bagan, as they will play 3 more AFC Cup games this season.

A full 5 minutes were spent on planning fed cup before more important issues like catering contract for ISL had to be discussed . Lets get used to it.

What about Stadiums? Calcutta teams will play at Barasat Stadium? or Siliguri is in the picture?

It is reported that till Election Results are declared Barasat Stadium will not be made available to Mohun Bagan & EB for their 1st. Round matches. Police will be busy all over the state & also to ensure smooth running of IPL in Kolkata.
With such help from all concerned...it is just a miracle that Football is still alive in this state.
