Agree @EastBengalPride I am talking practically

MB squad is not settled and doesn't have the depth to challenge seriously in Asia with a tight ikeague

    The priority will be ileague

They should focus on AFC Cup where they will actually compete along with I-League. Depth of squad is essential.

Salt Lake Stadium cannot be used for AFC Cup Games? Are they again closing it down for renovations?
We have never gone past first hurdle in ACL playoffs. Pune FC, bengaluru have disappointed in recent years. Lets see whether MB can atleast defeat Tampine Rovers.

Okay U-17 World Cup is in 2017. This is 2015 right now. Surely they will not be renovating Salt Lake Stadium till 2017 for U-17 World Cup. AFC Cup games need to be played in Salt lake. Unless they again plan to change the turf.

@7negi ; BFC was dissapointing. Lost in First Round of playoffs against Johor Darul Tazim. Then lost to Persipura Jayapura twice and with South China. East Asia Zone is weak and barely reaching and losing in Round of 16 is a poor performance. East bengal, Dempo have reached semi-finals. Even Churchill Brothers played well amongst Arab clubs.
What limitations? Losing in weak East Asia Zone will always be called poor and disappointing performance.

Lost to 3 different East Asia Clubs in one season. Can we imagine what would have happened if they faced West asia Arab clubs instead?

BFC lost in extra-time away.to a very strong JDT

    JDT won the AFC Cup

Had Indonesia not been banned Persipura Jayapura would've been contenders.

    South China almost beat JDT.

Also BFC qualified with a game to spare despite having to play against JDT and Warriors without their India National team and India U23 player's due to qualifier versus Nepal

Having said all that... East Bengal and Dempo have done better in the past.. as had Churchill Brother's

Well if JDT were in West Asia zone, they would not have passed even the Group Stage. They were just plain lucky that both semifinalists Al Qadsia and Al-Kuwait were disqualified. Al-Kuwait defeated Johor 3-1 in the first tie before disqualification.
This year AFC Cup will be interesting as many new countries are represented by their clubs. April 25 Sports Club from North Korea-it is their Military Team.
