Useless Punishment. It looks too harsh to me. FC Goa will again appeal against the decision. If they didnt give previous fines, why will they give this time? And why docked 15 points? with that punishment, what motivation will the team have for next season? Will Zico even come for the league or any Foreign player? They will appeal and another committee will be formed to scale back the punishment.
Justice finally !! Harsh, but much needed. Never thought IMG-R will be able to pull this off... 15 points docked, mathematically stilll possible for Goa to reach semis :P
Yes it's pretty harsh, but it will be reduced to some extent after they file an appeal Next logical step to be done is to restrict owners from the dugouts
I liked the monetary punishment as well as the owners punishment. But docking 15 points is too harsh in my opinion. I feel they should have removed that part. Or they could have done something else like FC Goa's 5 home matches to be played out of Goa. Outside the 8 ISL places!!
Moral of the story: Don't fuck with FSDL! Justice served RIGHT! Though docking points is harsh. In that way, there will be no motivation for them to compete. They will make a very poor team in that way. Monetary punishment should have been the case. Like no home matches or all the gate money goes to FSDL.
If owners of FC Goa has any self respect left, they should pull out a day before their first match. 15 points penalty? That's just vengeance, it's not a fair ruling. Dempo and Salgaocar families have enough clout in Goa to ensure no one else can pick up the Goan franchise.
