FC Goa like all franchises owes around 12 Crore franchise fee ( annual) which no one has paid....
This will all be a hush hush back door collection of the said fee....
The 15points fine will be rescinded as will the stadium bans...
No way the organisers can risk losing out on FC Goa in the ISL. Or we will have to get used to seeing empty stadiums at Delhi , Pune , Mumbai & possibly even NorthEast*
------------ * NEUFC incoming CEO; Ardesheer Jeejebhoy from DSK Shivajians fame...thinks solving the clubs poor performance is as simple as removing the NE only player signing policy that is a hangover of the Lajong association from year 1 !!
Bringing in guys like Rowlin Borgess for 45laks just goes to show how little this guy knows on Indian football... and how much he blindly believes Constantine.. Obviously he will be signing LZ from DSK too and thinks the key will be their foreign signings.
The fact that they were strongly considering Ashley Westwood as their coach , shows how scatter brain their approach is.
-------
Delhi Dynamos have so far got the following Indian player's: Subhashish Roy Choudhary ( injured ? ) Sanjiban Ghosh - Anas Edathodika ( injured ) Souvik Chakraborty ( not really a defender ) - Amoes Do Seiminlen Doungal ..... fortunately they have released Francis Fernandes , Robin Singh , and a few more oldies
Unless they can bring in more Malouda's and Rise types to balance for the lack of Indian quality they could be under serious threat of going back to where they were in year 1.
---- FC Pune City are banking on the Habas effect... but they too are under serious pressure to succeed given the money they are heamoraging ! ---- ATK will certainly be interesting to see how they perform post Habas ---- Chennaiyans seem to have a solid approach and due to their consistency in staff and personnel. .they will be favourites to dominate. --- Mumbai City have finally got a proper team and should make the play offs --- KBFC.... let's ask Trevor James.....
------- This could be make or break season for a lot of the ISL teams
I dont know if the money actually reaches both FSDL and Chennaiyin but like the docking of points which was the alternate of playing outside/closed stadium matches in Goa.
The fact of the matter is lies and propaganda was used to create a victim like situation and am happy no one bought it.
All this means Goans will see what the action of a couple of owners can do to a season goans looked forward to spoilt.
Seriously though, I am not going to discuss whether what happened was right or wrong but the 15 point deduction is a bit harsh. Clubs that get into the finals usually get 19-25 points... so FC Goa will end with what... 4 to 10 points if they are finals quality? This is essentially banning them from the finals. This is the wrong decision which I hoped is reversed or at least put down to just 5 points.
Sure, it punishes the team but it will also punish the ISL. No player will want to join a team that is basically already assured of not winning the tournament straight away and in a league in which the teams are assembled from scratch almost every offseason, this could end up more bad for ISL than FC Goa.

You may get all the insightful icons on your posts and you may have more "contacts on the inside" than us, but sometimes a bias is not that hard to detect.
You are 3000 points ahead of me and I am probably the most controversial person on this forum, I may get to 9000 one day but that wont be for awhile so I could care less about points.
You can have an opinion and you can pass judgement but I certain grievances towards how they are expressed.

Am I detecting a hint of the underlying jealousy that is finally boiling over , ever since the new scoring system was introduced ?
Am I not allowed to have an opinion , or should I just dish out " inside news " and not pass judgement ??
I'm on a quest to reach 10,000 points and then retire from IFN , and you can take over your rightful place
