I remember when Bob handed Jeje his NT debut during AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers as a 20 year old (official age), he had scored 4 goals in 3 games.We were all gung ho about him playing in Europe, next Bhutia etc. He has fizzled out since then. So just saying that dont put to much pressure on this potential next gen superstar and let time take its own course and in the meantime we will discover few more.
Yea let the kid get settled... He faced nepal and sl possibly easiest teams... He need to show talent in semis and final...which if succeeded then comes real test WCQ...
If he is able to look out as a stand out performer then we can say that we got a star in our ranks
I think people misinterpret praise for a young player a lot. No one has said he will lead us to a damn World Cup or be the best player ever. Just that he seems like a really good talent based on his age and it is obvious in the 2 games he has played.
