Subrata - Made a couple of sharp saves, Not sure what attracts saves from him, A nervy defense didnt help him have a easy time against a team which hasnt scored in 13 matches. Happy problem for SC if he wants Subrata to continue who was tested in this match against a better GK in Gurpreet but not tested against Sri Lanka
Pritam - Complete Misfit in CB, Talked like a RB, Any Exp CB would have kept pace and shephearded the Attacker to a corner until help arrives, Not helped by the fact he had an ineffective Aiborlang next to him
Aiborlang - No where good enough for the NT, Needs to get back to Domestic football and get better. Left Pritam all alone most times.
Augustine - Kick it and Head it kind a defender, Showed clearly when he didnt have an exp CB in Arnab next to him to Guide, Was jittery throughout the match, Could have done better in the first goal to push the striker away from goal rather than go for a tackle.
Narayan - Final ball still missing but was the better of the back 4 atleast.
Rowlin - Boy did he deliver that Goal, Really happy with his performance esp with the finish and the final pass to reach Zuala. That was sublime. India now has a happy problem in DMF with Pranoy, Sehnaj, Dhanpal and now Rowlin to contend. Rowlin seems to be the better passer of the ball among the lot, A type sorely missed in the NT
Eugeneson - Another Ordinary performance, Seemed well to support the defense and keep things ticking but nothing more than that, His Set pieces arent of the quality as its made out to be. India desparately needs a ball playing Midfielder.. Very few in Domestic football and Eugene is used until we get one.
Sanju - One good pass to Sunil and then he dissappears, Looks like his NT plating days are over unless he doesnt goes invisible in most phases of the game, Rightly substituted at Half time although you could argue Jairu needed to be out of there more than Sanju.
Jairu - Head down and run to a Dead end alley - Repeat again. Thankfully we got 90 mins of him to know he is not gonna be NT material at all. Plus he wears the No 10 shirt.. Criminal to say the least.
Sunil - Plays better at a AM position than a striker which he played in the first half, Could have scored with the ball from Sanju but lack of pace is showing. Held the ball better and scored a nice poacher's goal in the second half. Hopefully he plays in the AM position in the next match with a proper striker upfront.
Narzary - Less i say the better, Haokip was a better option to be played than him. Off to lower I-league team or Div 2 for you boy.
LZ43 - 18 years and Pace with Trickery to burn!! Kid hope you realize you have made it a day to remember for a lot of people here after a long long time. Wouldnt go overboard with his performance and am happy he has a full season with DSK in the i-league to blood further but what a find. Are there anymore like him in the U-19 setup? If yes please bring more.
More than his first goal which was class to say the least...I loved his second, Quick lookup to see the Gap and run towards it matched by the brilliant pass from Rowlin.. This kind of off the ball movement is direly required for our Team.
Really excited to see a full season of Changte , Udanta & Sarkar. This is the season they break through.
SC should realize what happens when Misfits are made to play 1-1 at half time. You let creativity loose then the result quickly changes. Thats what has been his coaching stint here. Merely handing out Debuts wont work.. You have got to be a little aggressive when the situation demands and make some players play without fear no matter what the opposition is.
Surprised that hyped 16 year old. top scorer in Belgian youth league who never ages best youngster in asia (as per nepali fans) who scored a tap in got his fame cut short by unknown Indian kid.
