    All India Football Federation is looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager who can be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.The ideal candidate should be able to act as the link between the organization’s management and its employees, as their work would range from providing consultation on strategic planning with top executives to interviewing and recruiting new staff. The HR manager will also be responsible for attracting, motivating, and retaining the most qualified talent by leading the HR department. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Work with the management on setting the culture at the organization
    • Maintain the work structure by creating and updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions, as per the required hiring of AIFF
    • Maintain and update organizational charts
    • Create a structured and consistent recruitment process
    • Oversee recruitment efforts including writing and placing job ads and organizing resumes and applications
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process to fill vacant positions
    • Prepareand maintain employee files
    • Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
    • Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards Company goals.
    • Nurture a positive working environment
    • Maintain staff and department records and reports
    • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of human capital
    • Assist in developing, analyzing and managingthe company’s performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
    • Assisting in developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
    • Analyse wage and salary reports and data to advise on the compensation plan.
    • Create and monitor a training development plan for staff
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures
    • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Participate in administrative staff meetings
    • Create a protocol for hiring staff and helping them to integrate very fast to the social and sports professional environment of India and AIFF.
    • Create a protocol for hiring the Indian national head and assistant coaches based on their sportive performances and experiences at high professional level.
    • Lead digitization of HR-related records and database
    • Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
    • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
    • Develop the legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource national and state requirements, as well as Asia Football Confederation and FIFA;
    • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and grievances.
    • Prepare budget of human resources operations.
    • Work with admin department to escalate and report issues of compliance with policies or absenteeism.
    • Supervise temporary staffing such as interns as needed.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 

    Skills and Requirements 

    • Masters or Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR
    • 4-5 years related experience and/or training
    • People oriented and results driven
    • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
    • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to effectively present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
    • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
    • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
    • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
    • Knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.

    Senior Manager - - Grassroots Development

    Reporting: To the Head of Coach Education, AIFF

     

    The Senior Manager, Grassroots will report to the Head of Coach Education, AIFF and is accountable for the grassroots development of football in India including the identification, documentation (Grassroots course content) and implementation of consistent grassroots education across the country. The Senior Manager shall also work closely with the Technical Director and the Grassroots Manager.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    1.Grassroots Courses & Programs:

     

    1. Work on AFC Grassroots Charter
    2. Create and conduct programs that offer game introduction, basic skills and techniques, age related game exposure and above all integration and fun aimed at promoting the game.
    3. Create awareness and spread the message about the AIFF Golden Baby League to prospective stakeholders through the Grassroots Courses & Programs
    4. Talent identification through Grassroots development activities.
    5. Design and create Grassroots Annual Calendar for AIFF which will be inclusive of Leagues, Tournaments, Coach education, Festivals, and other related activities
    6. Preparation of operational and technical development plan for the Grassroots Department including succession plan
    7. Review the AIFF Grassroots Course content to create a comprehensive curriculum 
    8. Conduct E License (Grassroots Leaders) Courses in line with the AIFF Strategic Plan
    9. Ensure 100% digitisation of data on Grassroots Leaders, Instructors, Courses and Players
    10. Help Grassroots centres, academies, clubs etc. to enhance and streamline Grassroots development program
    11. To promote concept of basic Futsal through Grassroots courses and programs.
    12. Work with the Technical Director on the training concept for the 6-12 year age category

     

    2. Instructor development:

     

    1. Design and administer an overall Instructor development program with the objective of covering various regions
    2. Create implementation plan for the Instructors according to the requirement of the annual plan
    3. Identify potential instructors
    4. Prepare the AIFF Grassroots Refresher Course to educate existing Instructors to be able to deliver quality courses
    5. Create job description for the on-board Instructors and delegate and monitor the tasks assigned by AIFF
    6. Work closely with the Instructor and monitor the quality of courses 
    7. Creation of systematic reporting format for Instructors
    8. Assess and analyse the outcome of the program

     

    3.Golden Baby Leagues &Special Grassroots Events:

     

    1. Liaise with Baby League Manager for the Baby League Project and ensure it is integrated well within the Grassroots development programme and courses
    2. Special events and AFC Grassroots Day on May 15th each year to achieve maximum reach in terms of volume of activities as well as participants

     

    1. Prepare and share a quarterly report with the Head of Coach Education, Technical Director and Strategy and Operations for all Grassroots activities conducted.

     

    Key Skills and Requirements:

     

    • Minimum of AFC C License
    • At least 4 years of involvement in Grassroots Football
    • Experience as a Grassroots Football Instructor
    • Sound administrative, organisational and prioritisation skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Planning and project management skills to ensure quality delivery of various programmes and sound budgeting and financial accountability
    • Good managerial skills and experience enabling him to coordinate with staff who work out of the headquarters or outside it
    • Experience of mentoring and developing other players/coaches
    • A dynamic, confident communicator (verbal, written) with the ability to adapt style and approach as and when required
    • Ability to work in a team environment and to prioritise team objectives over individual objectives
    • Possess an excellent work ethic

    All India Football Federation is looking for an Assistant Legal Manager within the Players Status & Registration Department. The position is initially available for the duration of one year on a contractual basis and may be renewed based on performance. This position is based out of Football House, Dwarka, New Delhi.

    Brief Description of the Department:

    AIFF PSRD manages the players registered throughout India via AIFF's Centralised Registration System, wherein a player's registration/renewal and transfer is approved by AIFF without which he/she cannot participate in any Competition organised/ sanctioned by AIFF or its Member Associations and Affiliated Units.

    The department also manages the disputes that are related to a player and club and/or an official and Intermediaries registered with AIFF.

    In detail, this department currently manages or deals with the following Regulations:

    • AIFF Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (AIFF RSTP)
    • AIFF Training Compensation Code (part of AIFF RSTP)
    • AIFF National Dispute Resolution Chamber (part of AIFF RSTP)
    • AIFF Regulations on Working with Intermediaries

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drafting / reviewing / amending the above mentioned AIFF Regulations
    • Assist in implementing and educating all the stakeholders in the above mentioned AIFF Regulations
    • Manage AIFF Players' Status Committee meetings whenever required.
    • To act as the Secretary/Deputy Secretary to the Players Status Committee.
    • Dealing efficiently and effectively with disputes, namely labour disputes between players and clubs, coaches and clubs or associations, club / club disputes in connection with the transfer of a player, solidarity contribution and training compensation disputes.
    • Interpreting contracts related to players’ employment and transfers.
    • Revising transfer and employment litigations that are submitted to the AIFF competent bodies.
    • Editing players’ status judgements/decisions in line with the Committee’s directions.
    • Preparing documents, as necessary, to support the Player Status Committee in the decision-making process in accordance with the relevant regulations.
    • Managing the Compliance of the decisions sent by the committees.
    • Giving written and/or oral advice on the regulations as well as on general legal issues to players, clubs, state associations, agents, legal advisors etc.

    Our Requirements:

    • At least one (1) years of relevant legal experience in a sports organisation and/or law firm.
    • Candidate must be a qualified lawyer
    • Post-graduate qualifications in the sports law field are an asset
    • Knowledge of drafting and reviewing contracts
    • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
    • Interest in football
    • Very good knowledge of MS Office
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment, and to work long hours when necessary
    • Excellent communication skills, organisational and management skills
    • Willingness to travel occasionally
