Though i even heard that it was raining heavily while the match was on.
Did anybody hear anything about the WB v Manipur semi-final? Were WB lucky to reach the final? I think Manipur v Orissa would have been a much better match for the final.

Incessant rain forced a disruption of the Women's National final match between Orissa and West Bengal in Chattisgarh. Orissa were leading 5-0 till the 85th minute when the referees decided to interrupt the match because of unplayable conditions. The remaining five minutes will be played on Tuesday, May 17.
I think the AIFF has spies on this forum - they just changed it to Wed 18th <!-- s8-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8-)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8-) -->
Common sense should have prevailed, and the result should have been left to stand. There is no way West Bengal will score 5 goals in 5 minutes. Imagine what the West Bengal players must be feeling now knowing they have to come out again tomorrow morning and play 5 minutes of a match they know they have lost already...
