Even in 2nd div I league, Royal Wahingdoh facebook claims that some of the scorers mentioned in AIFF website is wrong and they have video evidence also...
What the hell is wrong with the aiff site. I think that the man who maintains the site is not at fault but he is provided with incorrect information.

Also shamefully, the highest scorer in Dallas cup, Muana, was misspelt as Mohanna!!!

I've compiled a state ranking (men's and women's) based on results since 2000. Teams are given points taking into consideration the strengths of the teams they play and the results. So, for example, for women, a 0-1 defeat to Manipur is worth more than a 1-0 win over Rajasthan (a team who loses only 1-0 to Manipur would be considered a stronger team than the team who only managed to beat Rajasthan 1-0)

Found this small report from the Uttar Pradesh v Karnataka match on 27th April. I had it as a 3-2 win for UP, AIFF has it as a 3-2 win for Karnataka (which is not a small thing - it would mean Karnataka go to the quarter-finals and not Assam from Cluster II).

Can someone please confirm the actual result from this report in Hindi?

Just 2 matches left in the preliminary clusters. 7 teams have already booked their quarter-final group places.

The 7 qualifiers so far: Manipur, Assam, Jharkhand, Goa, Orissa, West Bengal, Kerala.

Today, hosts Chhattisgarh take on Haryana to decide the 8th quarter-finalist. Chhattisgarh must win, while a draw would be enough for Haryana. Both teams already played Arunachal Pradesh, but Haryana managed a 6-0 win compared to Chhattisgarh's 5-0 victory.

The other match between Maharashtra and Rajasthan is for pride only, as Kerala have already won that group.

Judging by current and historical form, the 4 semi-finalists should be Manipur, Goa, Orissa and West Bengal.

Tables and results:

I've not been able to find the final 2 group results (Chhattisgarh v Haryana and Maharashtra v Rajasthan), but Haryana qualified for the quarter-finals in any case, so Chhattisgarh v Haryana was either a draw or a win for Haryana.

The quarter-final groups:

GROUP 1
Manipur
Goa
Assam
Jharkhand

GROUP 2
Odisha (I've started using their official name)
West Bengal
Kerala
Haryana

1st matches in Group 2 played already (8th May):
Manipur 8-0 Assam, Goa 2-0 Jharkhand

Today (9th May) - Odisha v West Bengal and Kerala v Haryana
