The guy is a fitness coach at Barcelon that has no clue about Indian football.
He had a good squad... he destabilised it by telling 6 to 8 players they could go on loan as he didn't see them in his plans.
He only trains his 1st Eleven and has alienated the other half of team
Injury issues are all down to bad coaching.
He had a sqaud that could win league and make it to AFC Cup finals... but he delt he knew from watching 1 season of ISL that pkayers like Lenny , Sena etc are better. Khabra as a right back... just shows how little he knows of football in India.
And you think BFC should keep Roca !
Btw Johnson is using selective injury tactics... Will return for the 2 easy games now
Roca actually had no prior club coaching experience except an amateur club in Spain. And his only head coach experience was with El Salvador. There must be a reason he never got a head coach job even when he's over 50
Well now I don't want him. I didn't know he alienated the squad, I didn't know about his coaching and training methods and how they hurt the team. This stuff is never reported or said.
You'd think BFC would highlight all the negative news about themselves!
We don't know his past records, nor his coaching philosophy, nor his managerial capabilities -- yet we drool over him for his country of origin. How spineless can you get!
India needs a coach who has a lot to prove. A young guy with good qualification and is ready to out in the hard work to make a reputation for himself. These old family guys like SC work like Government Servants.
Must say this bugger - Chhetri rightfully deserves a kick on his backside.
Wherever he goes - he creates "groups" and just tries to protect his interest at the cost of the Team - a photocopy of Bhaichung.
Despite that, I fail to understand why are certain clubs go gaga over him?
This is the reason, why these guys are scared to play in Kolkata - b'cos supporters here know exactly who is behind any nuisance; therefore any such attempts by any player is in the public domain and if that creates disharmony in the team, the guy's career is as good as over. Also football gets lot of space in print media - hence as long as you are performing, u r the king (the stakes for a performing soccer player is much higher in Kolkata than any other place in India) and vice versa.

The bloggers who speak to the players are the only ones who know the real stories...
Also because of Chhetri power...players keep quiet
