Aren't u guys going overboard with this ? I don't doubt his commitment or his achievement ,he did do an absolutely splendid job with limited resources, but IMO it'd be wise to wait and see if he could produce results on a regular basis . One season should not be the parameter , remember what happened with Santosh Kashyap.
Its only that u have too many bottom rung/below avg team in the League this year and incidentally BFC have made a team which has too many over the hill players and hence struggling. Hence Aizwal looks a team to beat now - they would certainly finish in the top 3/4 this year; but this kinda performance we have seen in the past from a NE team earlier also.
Am not taking away anything from Aizwal, but Royal Wahingdoh FC also performed creditably in the very first year (were 3rd behind Champion Mohun Bagan and runnersup BFC in 2014-15 and even ahead of the mighty East Bengal in the standings) before it closed down for those crappy AIFF rules.Remember, that was the year when u had SGC, Pune FC, Salgaocar, Dempo, Bharat FC and there were lot of mid-table teams.
Everyone was then talking about Santhosh Kashyap as the next big thing in Indian football, who has now fallen flat! The same is now the case with Khaleed!
C'mon lets be more matured in our judgement and be consistent with our understanding of the game.
