Table tennis is really a tough game for Indian players. Although it is one of the popular sroprts as a hobby in Indian setup like in offices/clubs/colleges, very few take it a professionally. Table tennis and basketball are really a fast paced game if we had tried ever playing unlike seeing from sidelines.

Kamalpreet Kaur qualifies for Tokyo Olympics, breaks national record in women's discus throw.

She improved upon her earlier personal best by four meters on the final day of the Federation Cup with NR effort 65.06m.

Olympics qualification mark is 63.5m. Previous N.R holder is Krishna Poonia (64.76m)

Veteran Seema Punia finished second with a best effort of 62.64m

Avinash Sable bettered his Own record & National record in 3000m steeplechase with a timing of 8:20.20. He already qualified for Olympics.

Neeraj Chopra shows his consistency and won Gold medal in Javelin Throw (Federation cup) with 87.80m. He already qualified for Olympics.

Eventhough Tajinderpal Singh Toor is not reached his best. He is consistently throwing above 20m and won gold with 20.58m in Shot-put. OLympics Qualification mark is 21.10m and only 24 athletes achieved it so far. There are still 10 slots left and if IOC allows remaining entries via ranking. He will qualify as he is in top 24 in world rankings.
