I think mb fielded relatively weak side thinking that after their home loss to mazia, bfc is nearly through to next round . So they thought it's good to focus on federation cup for next seasons afc cup ( imo nothing wrong in that, after proper international break they played very good in I-league )
if if they would have known that bfc will lose today they might have fielded a stronger team, which would have won or drawn today's match
Respect has to be earned....it cannot be kept up by someone if there is constant needling from the other side...not that I support using unparliamentary words or abuses from any club supporter
@AKB Did they travel by Qatar Airways to Male from Calcutta ??? That is weird, literally shambolic travel planning. Air India has direct flights from Delhi, Bangalore, Trivandrum. The time they wasted flying to Doha and from there back to Male could have been saved. Maldivian flies to Chennai, Trivandrum. One can blame AIFF for two leagues but atleast Mohun Bagan management can help their team by proper travel planning. They lost valuable hours both ways.
@sam, I can accept that. It is heartening to know that you have respect for your opponents. I may also add that I too reserve my respects for worthy opponents on the field. The true villain is AIFF here, they are not doing anything to have a conducive atmosphere for the clubs to have a decent go at international arena. Now BFC is also faltering.

@thebeautifulgame, what kind of constant needling?
