Despite all its imperfections , Season 1 had superior plays and goals .
This and last season , majority were ordinary level plays . But this season has just begun and I am willing to give it some more time before making any outrageous comment
Start of the season will always begin slowly. Players need to build up fitness while coaches need to adjust to new conditions especially when all teams have not had preason in India.
Basing an entire season in just the first few games is asking for trouble. In fact u need atleast 3-4 matches in a 14 game season to start judging teams here.
I also disagree season 1 was good. Season 1 was poor with a lot of low scoring and dull draws in the middle. Plus the indian players quality was poor due to i-league players not being released.
Season 2 was a lot superior in everyway possible to season 1. Better Indian players and better foriegn players.
Apart from the opening match none of the matches have been an eye sore yet. All the matches have been end to end stuff. With only one or two games being played, I can only expect teams to gel in well and keep improving.
I also have a problem with the way the grass is so heavy and thick , The ball doesnt move quickly adding to the slow labouring buildup for each move.
This further gets fuelled with below average stamina for most foriegners till now.
I however am encouraged by the fact the indian players have shown more stamina on the pitch than majority of the foriegn players, Its only the quality on and off the ball that is something our boys needs to catch up on.
How come our great Kerala fans jam packed the stadium during isl but start making excuses of transport and long distances during federation cup and them semi full /empty stadiums
What is the problem with these guys? They are disappointed to see packed stadiums in ISL, they are also disappointed to see alleged low attendances at some ISL games. I dont really get it.

Vingada reiterated that their second game against FC Goa was a match of top quality. He mentioned that its standard was better than a recent match he watched of the UAE (United Arab Emirates) league.
The second game was better; it would have been a good game in any league of Asia.

Dont think anyone has a moral obligation to fill the stadium for grassroot level football just bcos they have to.
