Secondly, I think the attendance debate gets settled once and for all yesterday. The match was on a Sunday, a blockbuster Goa Kolkata rivalry and ATK still can't fill a 12k stadium. I'm not telling you'll to accept that crowd attendances have been poor this year but at least start contemplating about accepting that fact.
ATK attendance was 10 589 in last match in a 11 500 sitter stadium and some people are still not satisfied ! Even EPL clubs cant fill 100 % of their seats...
Have to agree. We can disparage the I-League all day and night but there were some areas that had some cracking crowds. The Goans had their moments, Kolkata always drew a crowd, Shillong did to, Aizawl evidently (at a smaller capacity). Viva Kerala even had great crowds back in the day.
The maximum number of people that could be allowed into the ground is probably 22,000 but the capacity is reduced artificially so that things like a video board and other temporary stuff can be added to the ground. Like at almost every ground you can see the video boards and even tarped off seats.

But everybody including ISL website, wiki and reports in Sportskeeda and Business Standard are mentioning the max capacity as 22, 000. How's that?

11 000 according to this

2800 tickets for registered members(which was 4000 last year) and another 2000 for general public. The rest goes to the sponsors and VIP.
