He was? That sucks. Didn't watch the match and didn't see much from Jerry in the highlights than the fact that he has a tendency to be caught up a little on the pitch. These type of bad matches will happen though, best he learns from them.
Hanghal has been bad for a while, same with Sahni. I understand not giving Rane a chance since he is just a younger, more energetic version of Sahni (IMO) but Thoi Singh needs to be played. Also, what has happened to Dhanpal Ganesh and Zakeer Mundampara?
Pune should reconstruct the stadium . Sitting Pattern is pretty bad . Majority people have seats on far side and many seats go to waste due to Giant screen and other stuff .
and why are their grills in every stadium in India . If Mumbai Football arena was made to keep football in mind then why have grills in front . Keep it open
@AshishKaul The Fences used to be in European Stadiums also. But a series of disasters in 1980s and 1990s changed Football in the stadiums. Terrace areas where fans used to stand is removed - Stadiums became all seaters. There are hundreds of staff / stewards/ volunteers to control the crowd. Hooliganism has reduced atleast in Western Europe. Fences removed. Stadiums are more safe and family friendly place now. In the 1980s, English Football was described like this British football is in crisis; a slum sport played in slum stadiums
increasingly watched by slum people, who deter decent folk from turning
up.’
Just like our Indian Cricket has become upscale now as compared to 1980s, 1990s where stone throwing, police lathicharge was common, Indian Football stadiums will also improve one day and fences will be removed.
