So 2 Game days into the season and some IFN pre-season predictions seem to be holding sway..
MOHUN BAGAN & BFC have had maximum points and kept clean sheets... The other title hopeful East Bengal has stuttered but will keep pace, if only "alleged cut money" Trevor Morgan can figure out what is the best way to utilize the plethora of attacking options that he has assembled.
DSK Shivajians have started poorly in terms of results, a lot could be due to the Head masterly treatment that Dave Rodgers and Barry Knowles are meting out to his mixed team of Academy prospects and seasoned ISL lazy boys. The bizarre pre-game rituals has already forced a meeting with the owner and club captain Quero as well as fellow loud mouth Vice Captain Subrata Pal. Meanwhile the less noisy neighbours Mumbai have quietly assembled a team of experienced if previously underachieving I-league talent. With astute tactical nous and some deserved fortune Mumbai FC have made some serious head way with no foreigners.
On the far side of the country , former Mumbai FC coach has stuck to his tried & tested formula of playing for a DRAW while trying to nick a goal somehow. Fortunately for him the opposition has complied, with 2 own goals in 2 games. Aizawl FC will need a few more of these from opponents as their foreign striker Kamo looks like he couldn't score in Sonagachi !
Speaking of low scorers , fellow NorthEastern side Shillong Lajong probably need a penalty or an deflection to get them started. FABIO seems to have picked up from where he left off last season, he needs 10 chances to score 1 goal, such stats are acceptable with young Indian talent that Lajong have in abundance. Dipanda and Fabio will have to find the back of the net soon or this could be the end of the longest serving coach in the I-league.
The less said about Minerva and Chennai City FC the better.

Churchill omissions were deliberate,
Until they sign Joseph Afusi , pay the GPL players their dues , and start to look like a proper team off the field I will not give then any credit.
The upcoming elections in February will see him lose and then what... no payments for these boys for March to May...
