https://www.transfermarkt.us/luis-fernandez/profil/spieler/230212 Luis Fernandez has been tearing up the polish 2nd division. He has good experience in Greek super league and LaLiga as well. Being an attacking mid he scored 18 goals in 22 appearances with 5 assists this season. In total 70 career goals as well. Hope some ISL clubs scout him out to India based on his current form.
https://www.fifacm.com/player/252240/alan-sonora Alan Sonora is available for loan/buy. Been a tough year to break in Mexican top tier. But he has really high potential and was impressive in all opportunities he got this season. He will fit in perfectly to our conditions as Juarez is hotter than most places in India.
And they have all got 20 goal contributions overall. We will def stand to benefit. Coaches like Grayson/Juan/SC/ Carles/ could def make do with their work ethic. Carl McHugh is an amazing player. He is very comfortable being in bench. But he is so used to 45 games a season up until ISL. Whenever he came on he just gave his all this season. We def need players with more work rate like him from lower UK leagues.
Why don't ISL coaches scout in the 2nd division league in Brazil and Argentina? I am sure they'll find many technically skillfull players at dirt cheap prices. Go for youngsters especially bcoz then they can sell them off if the player develops and performs well.
@Chelseafan there are more scouts looking into local leagues in Brazil/Argentina. So good technical and skillful players will be tough to convince to move to ISL. But where as we can otherwise look at Columbia, Mexican 2nd division, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay. We will have a better chance to find dirt cheap players who are better.

True. But money talks. And going by the inflated salaries the likes of Mohan Bagan, Mumbai or Kerala Blasters are offering to European strikers in their 39s, they can certainly attract decent young players from Argentina, Brazil etc. Plus even a half as skillful player which moves to Europe can be convinced to come to India, he'll prove better than most of our foreign players. Another good hunting ground is nations like Ivory coast, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco etc. These African countries are bursting of footballing talents in their local leagues. Clubs will need to spend a bit on their scouting network initially but the financial rewards it will get after selling such players at high value is unimaginable.
