It is not the question of population, big city, or anything like that. MB EB fan sizes are not limited by YBK seating capacity. Each of them have more than 66,600 and can fill up several YBKs simultaneously, if feasible. It is a question of belonging, of your identification. Each person born in Bengal are born either a MB or an EB fan, whether he gets entry to YBK or not. ATK doesn't relate to them. There is no space for a third team, however big/ popular football is in Bengal.
A third team would have to be either geographycally discrete (say from North Bengal) or ethnically discrete (say representative of the non-Bengali population).
ha ha !!! two home games we played was cakewalk!!! BFC won handsdown plus, it is so sad to see delhi , not even fighting .. I-league clubs never surrender !!!! I-League >>> ISL (football quality ) . MB is the best and strong opponent which we loved to play.
Thanks, We support our team in tough phase more than in winning position.
Both Mumbai & Pune were surprised with the high pressing game that BFC played. Indian football is more about square pass & back pass.Atleast till half time. BFC changed that. And right from the beginning everything that Delhi coach told his boys has gone astray
Two games in and they think they can walk the league. Even a typical Euro Glory hunter won't think that way.
BFC has two advantages, They had proper match experience, practice and fitness before coming in to the league and a spirit of continuity in management and players while other teams have just started to gel which won't happen till mid December when we are Atleast 5 games in.
By end of 5-7 matches is where we can look at form books.
PS: The current I-league is a joke in quality this season after all talents have been stripped off.
