its so sad to lose like this at last min of stoppage time, refereeing was shit (not a reason for loss ) little luck would be helpful too but fantastic goal from CK.
I remember people laughing at me when I said ILeague will be a much better package this season. Good telecast, Quality games , Good attendance even with that insane schedule ,players like Chencho and strong showing from teams like MPFC,NEROCA, Aizawl. I think it’s about time to have one league with pro rel. Any other federation with some common sense would’ve realised it by now.
totally looooved Vineeth's strike today, even Jacki's goal..good to see Indians scoring better quality goals than foreigners..confidence level has certainly increased and also the competition for spots. How I wish Vineeth gets the chance to score like that for NT..What a bunch of in form strikers we can have Sunil,Jeje,Balwant,Vineeth, Len Doungel, Changte!!
Just my opinion, I feel Milan Singh has improved tremendously in the last 2-3 years to being a serious contender for the NT squad.he is just unlucky this time to be in a weak DD side. Check carefully and you will find that he has the most powerful long range grounders amongst all of Indian midfielders..his technique and strength seems to have improved tremendously..long way to come from when I first used to watch him on bench for Indian Arrows
I will still argue that ISL is overall better. Yes, I league this year has shown tremendous improvement. But, it's nowhere as close as ISL. And ISL is becoming more of an "Indian" league with reduced foreign players and Indians playing a key role in their team's success. I'm more interested in the attendance, TV viewership, sponsorship, etc. data will help us determine the success of the league. Again, this is transition year. Next year we will surely have a merger. AFC is putting tremendous pressure on AIFF. Just hope that the merger is planned one with good execution. Otherwise, we'll have another disaster waiting to happen.
@BrainFallINDIA "any other football federation"is the key here. i am sure you know that policy decisions are made in Bandra and not Dwarka in Indian football.
Bandra wants to monetise its assets, which is not going to be easy if investors can get a stake at a fraction of the cost in assets like Shillong/Mb/EB/Aizawal/Neroca/ even coimbatore, so these clubs need to be constantly ridiculed and all marginalised in all possible ways.
This blueprint doesnt seem to sync with merit based promotion/relegation top flight structure.

In all, good advert for ISL. The games look good on TV. Good product for the market.
In stadium, both ISL and I League are neck to neck. If observed closely, ISL is marginally better.
