Always highly rate Thapa he is a rare gem in India Is great going forward and equally good defensively much needed Box 2 Box midfielder Well see the best of him in the next 2-3 years
Thapa is not a gem but he seems to have played better than expectations this season. his 2 goals have both been technically good..am happy to be proven wrong by a youngster
Thapa is technically very good from his youth days Had a sloppy 1st game in U-23 qualifiers but dictated the midfield in other two games.
Compare him to likes of Bikramjit,Ganesh,Pronoy,Rowlin,Sehnaj etc he isn't as ruthless as them but can make those important tackles and is much better with the ball
And compare him with Milan,Lenny and other kinda CMs he is as good as them offensively
Lad can dribble take on defenders,has good passing range and his shooting is amazing. Hopefully will improve and start games in Asian Cup
Was definitely impressed with him yesterday. The way he finished his chance was great! I am sure almost all of the Indian forwards currently in i league or isl teams would have fluffed that.
