That video on twitter (Arjun Pandit) link given by @mohammed_87hassan: that is the real passion. When people speak about the 'history' of the Big Two, they mean this passion. Passion built by years of association and belonging. Of identity. Franchisee clubs pale out in front of this.

Sometimes, legacy just blinds the reality of the present times! What is puzzling is that legacy fans turn out for just one match - The Derby. Maybe, they'll turn out if they join ISL.

Well, at least fans turn out in I-League matches...ISL matches this year have been so 'terrific' that if things go on like this, fans will turn out of the stadium
Some clubs do not need 100 years to make a mark or create a fan base...look at the case of BFC
