100 years do not happen by chance especially in this pathetic state of football in India. It requires ultimate passion to sustain. People outside Bengal will really have no idea about this passion. Basically every home in Bengal is divided between the 2. Bengali films in the 80-70s reflect this passion.
For teams like atk in ISL, it will get spectators cause Bengali loves football but to generate the passion that these 2 clubs generate is unprecedented. That is going to take them quite a bit of time provided to generate that feeling provided they r able to sustain. This is where I feel AIFF is faltering. While you create acpan India league it is also essential to take advantage of this craze otherwise you r loosing being an Indian football fan
If we take out EB & MB,,, I league will lose its glamour... even all other age old I League clubs deserve the top division... Of-course Aizawl FC should be given priority along with EB & MB...
North East deserves 3-4 clubs in a pan-India 16-18 team league. One cannot generalize them as one zone and allot only one club to this vast and varied geographical area.

EB and MB are the vital missing piece of the puzzle in a proper pan Indian league.
Not withstanding the Franchise nature of ISL, They need to bend over backwards to bring both these massive clubs into the fold.
BFC is good but it’s EB+MB that completes your legitimacy
bhai if winning i-league is the criteria then your KEB does not qualify for it
