Leander Paes has officially pulled out of Asian Games. Now India needs to scramble someone else or forfeit one entry. Very poor attitude.

Leander Paes did the same thing in Rio Olympics. He reached Brazil only 36 hours before his match, did not participate in any training with Bopanna, was seen dancing in Flagmarch in Opening ceremony and then next morning lost in straight sets.
Some other young deserving youngster should have been selected in place of Leander. The opportunity got wasted !!!

India without him has still got enough talent to field two teams capable of winning the the Gold Medal. If they aren't drawn on the same side, then these two team these teams have the potential to make it an all India affair in the Gold Medal match.
The likes of Divine Sharan,Purav Raja,Rohan Bopana,Vishnu Vardhan etc are all good players and are capable of winning the Gold Medal.

Women's Handball   India lost 18-45 to South Korea

Men's Handball India lost 29-40 to Iraq

Women's Basketball India lost 61-79 to Kazakhstan

So much for IOA policy of sending only medal hopefuls B)

There is no Men's Basketball Team from india this time.  There were so many Singhs from NBA but India didnt send their men's squad.
