Such misleading headlines only show that they are trying to have a merger or one system with ISL at top, lets see how and when they will manage to do? Such things should have clear cut plan !!!
If AFC ask AIFF that what is your roadmap for next year, what will AIFF say
"could be the last edition, unless something happens in the intervening months".
What was the question asked by Journalist to which Dhar answered ??
Back to Oulu, back in 2017. The four Indian guest footballers Edwin Vanspaul, Nandha Kumar, Michael Soosairaj and Antony Beautin will have to do performance tests after their arrival in Finland. Strength, speed and endurance are tested by the Finnish fitness trainers.
The result is sobering. Jani Ailovuo, the Hercules fitness coach, tells the footballers: "You are very strong and fast, but you have to work hard in terms of strength and above all stamina." Later, the Finnish club published a report on the club's website. This refers to "significant deficiencies". It also states, "The most useful thing was that they received a specific lesson." A graphic depicting the success of the Finnish fitness department with one of the four Indians is shown here. With eight percent less body fat, 1.8 kilograms more muscle and stronger power, Edvin Vanspaul is back in the plane to Chennai. He still plays there today.
Apart from stating that CCFC had announced a tie-up with Finnish second division side JS Hercules in 2017 and which, according to it, has failed, they re-iterate the fact that several aspects of the deal remain under wraps and contradictions abound. It states that CCFC "claims that FCB buys 35 percent of the shares and that this should bring the club 20 to 25 million euros" while FC Basel has said that they "will only help to build a young talent center and therefore also invest in Indian football to gain a foothold in the Asian e-sports market".
One thing about these reports, mostly in the Swiss media (and there are many circulating in the Net at present) has been somewhat disconcerting (at least to me). A fan/supporter/stakeholder of an European club (or any club for that matter) has every right to feel aggrieved at the wrongdoings of the club he supports, but such an angst has exposed the orientalist, colonialist biases inherent in the European mindset to a certain extent. The equating of India or Indians with certain derogatory stereotypes (though couched in so-called parliamentary language)--which I have found in certain reports makes me suspect that our tom-tomming of equality of race, nation, gender etc. remain academic exercises at best and might actually be a hollow sham

When? I seem to dimly remember the Fateh Hyderabad owner case
But Novy Kapadia...never knew about it!

The deal/tie-up with the Finnish club in 2017 was reported in Indian media at that time, with the deficiency in fitness level also noted in certain dailies.
