Based on my calculations sports can provide over a million jobs and since sports person have short career span , it would benefit our population a lot .

Also by lowering the retirement age of government jobs , LIC , Banks etc to 55 from current 60-64 , we can ease out on our unemployment issues .

Self employment is another key area to exploit .

When I become an IAS officer and later PM , I am going to bring about these changes on humungous scale  B)

The big change in Indian football over the last few years has been the way teams play the game. I remember watching an I-League match between salgaokar and Mohan Bagan a few years back when the game was being played in an almost empty stadium in the middle of afternoon and both the teams were just hoofing the long balls up to the striker and running after the ball. No one attempted to play the ball on the ground and it was like watching school level football. Whereas now we see teams deliberately trying to play the ground passing game and much more attack build up around the penalty box rather than the long balls .Just look at how even Chennai City FC, a team with modest means and average players, is playing beautiful passing football against the Indian arrows right now. Indian arrows in fact are playing much more long balls and very little fluid passing game which I expected the Indian nation u18 team to be playing. Infact arrows are playing so horribly that it seems almost impossible that they had beaten Argentina u20 and competed against the national youth sides of France and Croatia only a month back. The arrows players are not making any off the ball movement. Most of the players are stationary! Very bad exhibition of football from them. But Chennai is playing superbly. And to me it's a good sign that club sides are trying to play more along the ground, even the Indian players in these teams. This will improve the standard of football in India.

Arrows players showed very shoddy marking !!! While defending, there was little desire to jump, mark or come close to chennai players. I was expecting them to be stronger this season but it was a very poor start.
