Why only 1 side stand was filled for Aizawl F.C. home ground?

They are yet to get security clearance for new stands.

They haven’t been able to fill the existing stands. So that wont be a problem for a while.

Chennai Express dialogue : Dont underestimate the Power of a  Common Man !!

In Indian Football context, Dont  Underestimate the power of Random African players.

Minerva Punjab played a brilliant game today with their Foreign players Toure, Edafe and others. Hope they settle down as a team before AFC Cup.

Indian Arrows were completely out of sorts in the other match. They got some opportunities due to adventurism of Shilton Paul but they wasted those with Cricket sixers. Sorry to say but nobody looked National Team material with the way Indian Arrows played today. Even when they were trailing and few minutes were left, there was no urgency from the players or coaching staff. With 3 minutes left, Arrows players were gulping water and there was little desire to quickly take free kick and create some pressure in remaining time. They were wasting their own time. This sums up their commitment level. This club will not get relegated and players seem to be content with losing or auditioning for ISL Bench next year.

  • And Bagan was pathetic! a) Kisseka missed 3 sitters within the first 20 mins., but he was switching positions and fell back; b) Bagui just comes up and floats the ball in rival box - so predictable. This used to be the culture probably in the 80s-90s but Shankarlal, like his predecessor continues in the same vein(this is exactly what Kotal used to do under Sen's tutelage; look at him now in DD, he is more effective);this apart Bagui's combination with Mahato was embarrassing to watch; c) Bagan keeps on playing aerial ball, which is outdated; d)Yuta seems to be scared and not going for the tackles, lest he gets injured again - this time to be kicked out by the club; e) Omar looked good, but the others are such substandard material that they cant understand where/when he would release the ball.

Overall I think Bagan would finish either in 3rd/4th position this year.

Very True. Mahato looked hopeless to me. And both Yuta as well as Sony Norde looked like carrying injuries. It is upto Dicka and Kisseka to save the season for Mohan Bagan. Seriously while looking at Yuta Kinowaki, any moment it looked like he will be carried out of the ground on stretcher with season ending injury !!!
