EB officials have often drawn flak (rightfully) for the team's performances in the recent past but it is time now for the players to stand up and be counted...the entire team, except Chullova and Joby Justin to a certain extent, played shoddily today...after conceding the third goal, the players did not show any urgency in scoring but seemed to be going through the motions...the coach insists that his team will play possession-based football but the team resorts to aerial balls at the drop of a hat...they can't string together 2/3 passes...the defence, especially"slow coach" Johnny Acosta, was time and again found wanting against so-called Kolkata football rejects like Kromah and Dodoz...didn't really understand the decision to replace Dagar with Ubaid...his error led to the second goal...Esqueda must control his temper and stop playacting...he needs to convert chances into goals

I was hoping that Neroca lose today. I am also hoping their coach (Manuel Retamero Fraile) gets replaced by Khalid Jamil.

They have perfect squad (Jamil type). One random African forward (having Indian experience), a good foreign holding midfielder, Katsumi & Eduardo. Only Amna is missing, if QEB releases Amna then, Neroca will have all that requires to be Jamil's typical team.

    Fingers crossed :)

Regarding NEROCA team almost died, this is a bit exaggerated. This was not even an incident. Some turbulence and suspected lightning happens but airplane was safe. There is a database of Aviation industry which notes all emergency incidents on passenger flights everyday around the world and there is no mention of this. No damage to the airplane was reported, no emergency report filed by Air traffic authorities. Possibly media people and some passengers over-reacted in bad weather descend and landing.

As I said earlier, EB Foreign players all look chubby and plump. In hindi we call it lot of Charbi . Random African players like Dodoz, Kromah looked better then them. Foreign players need to perform-there is no excuse.
No point in chest-thumping about some world cupper of North America or some First division player if their best years of Football were 5-6 years ago.

Look at CCFC Spanish players- 4 th division alright but they are delivering victories. Random African players deliver the result if they are strong, fit and play for the team.

EB has made big-time blunder in their Foreign signings this season. More focus was on Quess this Quess that instead of fitness utility and proper team balance.  This season title hopes are gone.

Star Sports 3 Channel shows Top Goals of I-League at Half Time of every I-League broadcast. The Creator seems to be an East Bengal fan. Even average looking Joby Justin's Goal is shown there as Top Goal. Some sensational goals scored by Spanish Contingent from Chennai City FC has been ignored from that list !!

No, he does not. In first half he missed 2 clear chances before Aizawl’s opener

in second half as well his passing wasn’t that great.

If anyone from I-league deserves nt call then that’s Samuela

now almost all matches are available on SS3 or hotstar , could that be reason for low turnout in aizawl ... i mean people are getting to see game at home so they are avoiding stadium(might be difficult to travel )
last year i came across some article like that, some club owner from NE was againt TV broadcast of the game because they used to get crowd from all areas from long distance so easy availability on TV would hamper that attendance (Forgot which club is that)

    this is guess not claim

That may be the reason as travelling in Aizawl is not same as other cities. If option is available for them to watch the match in the comfort of their homes, they will go for that.
