I League 2018-'19 sees sharp increase in Stadium Attendance and TV viewership
The Hero I League , India's official top division has seen a sharp rise in instadia attendance and TV viewershio this season .
2years ago in 2016, the I League's average attendace was 6625 . That increased last season to 10220. So far this season , the average attendace stands at 12643 . This rise is mainly attributed to Neroca FC 's entry into the league and vastly improved attendance figures from Gokulam Kerala and the Kolkata Giants . The I League clubs hope to go even better with the 2 big ticket Kolkata Derbies, I League biggest crowd puller still to come .
The good news dosent end here , the TV ratings of I League has increased by an inpressive 43 % this year as well .
With no promotion on part of AIFF and Star Sports , the I League's rise is staggering .
Will be funny if I-League attendance is more than ISL attendance this season. Good possibility as well considering Blasters fans are boycotting all home games

Also his game reading is pathetic. Henry was clearly injured & wasn't doing anything; yet he kept him and as if was waiting to concede a goal(which he eventually did) and then brought Dicka.
Also replaced Omar with Shiton - meaning Bagan was playing with 3 DMs - with Chennai having far superior ball possession. Thats ridiculous and its only a matter of time when u would concede a goal. This is the reason he has drawn 3 matches after scoring a goal.
Mohun Bagan was lucky to get one point from this match despite a magical moment by Sony Norde.. The onslaught from Spanish Contingent in 2nd half from CCFC was unrelenting. Twice the ball hit the crossbar.
Fully agree with @Soccerlover ; They were late in bringing Dicka. Pintu Mahata cut a sorry figure- he was struggling to send a cross towards Box where Kissenka, Norde were waiting. Sheikh Faiaz used to struggle in the same role earlier and MB has again signed him !! Just Running ability is not enough.
In another match, Minerva FC propelled themselves to 5th position in the League Table with a 1-0 win over Indian Arrows. It was an improved performance by Arrows but just not enough to win any match at this level. Arrows has failed to score any goal in last three matches and they occupy last place with a ' -7' Goal Difference.
