About random Africans.. Just take example of emeka ezigo, he arrived as a rondom African in MB, played in india and impressed went to Europe impressed the Nigerian coach and he played the world cup, Odafa , ranti martins you may call them random Africans but they were one of best foreigners ever to play in India, no current player can match odafa or ranti in there prime except for coro or ogbeche
here teams dont have money to send scouts on streets of India how they are going on african streets Stop living in dreamworld mate, the thing is that you are just not ready to listen to faults of ISL and blaming everything on I League(both has pros and cons)
and I am FCPC(which is ISL team) supporter saying this..
A player is judged by his performance on the football ground, and not by his country/race/pedigree.
If players, African or otherwise or those who have been playing street football or in 3rd division leagues, Ugandan or otherwise, perform better than "known' players, so be it.
It has been often seen that proper scouting and training can transform ordinary players into top class talent. And talking of "people basically plucked from the street", we all know that some of the greatest like Pele, George Best and Maradona began as street footballers before they graduated to the big stage and set them on fire.
In the ISL, there have been many instances where semi-retired, geriatric footballers--former World Cuppers and "stars" at that--were roped in to add to the sheen and international feel of the League. Most of them failed spectacularly and hardly contributed in any way to the development of Indian football. Of course, there have been exceptions. I am also aware that this phenomenon--star players/known foreigners being signed by clubs and then failing to make any impact--is also present in the I-league but to a much lesser extent.
So, your reasoning that "known" players would perform better than so-called "random" players, be it in any league, does not hold water.
I-league may have many shortcomings but the ISL, in its present form, half-baked and ill-conceived, is hardly the panacea Indian football needs at present.
Lol.. I heard this zee sports things too many times... they only did better quality broadcasting at first season only .. after that they understand there is not much return and the quality came down.. this people will happy when relaince did the same for ISL
When did I say ISL is what Indian football needs? I know it's far from perfect but it's better than I-league in pretty much every category so it's a step in the right direction. In 2023-24 if they announce promotion-relegation with I-league then it would be good.
what kind of contract does AIFF has with Star Sports? Any kind of contract at all?? how can they deny match telecast all of a sudden without giving hefty amount as penalty??

As simple as it gets on why I-League gets the step motherly treatment from AIFF and FSDL.
