Now it's clear why Qatar rescheduled their Bangladesh match. India - Qatar match may also be rescheduled.
Qatar will take part in UEFA World Cup qualification. They got included as 6th team in an originally 5 team group. There are other 6 team groups, so Qatar's matches won't require extra matchdays. All their matches will be considered friendlies. Qatar will also play Copa America and CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer.
Since the first three matches are on 24, 27, 30 March, India - Qatar match may also be rescheduled. Bangladesh match was originally supposed to happen on March.
But this will mess up AFC's Asian Cup qualification format. As of now, Qatar will have to play Asian Cup qualification third round even if they top the group. Then among the 24 teams competing, 12 can qualify (winners and runner-up of each group). If Qatar is playing UEFA matches, they will claim their Asian Cup spot using their second round position, so only 11 teams can qualify from 3rd round (1 runner-up will miss out).
If China too doesn't qualify for WC qual 3rd round (which is very much possible now), only 10 teams from Asian Cup qual 3rd round will qualify for Asian Cup.
Qatar should be disqualified from AFC 2022 qualification and let them play on the merit of host nation , that will give a fair chance to us to qualify to next round behind Oman.
