ISL Playoffs will finish by second week of March. Like the previous year, players will be joining in 2 batches. And quarantine rules in UAE is very lenient.
Most likely by March. Now is too early with matches currently going on. But in his last interview he was really impressed with HFC squad playing with 3 foreigners and praised all young talents. I am hoping they will at least be in preliminary squad to give them confidence.
AIFF should be forthcoming in declaring news about National Team. Camp, Friendly Match, Coach whereabouts ( missing for 15 months), Qualifers For cancellation of U 17 World Cup we came to know from Uganda Media. Probably Qatar media will announce the dates of world cup Qualifier. Until ISL finishes, AIFF do not have permission to announce anything or what ?
The decision regarding mini tournament or not will be taken next week. Expecting AIFF to declare the camp details only after that. We can expect squad to be announced by 4th week of February.
Regarding U17 World Cup, AIFF doesn't have the right to announce. FIFA have to do that.
Atleast Stimac talked to national team players and made sure they dont stay in bench (Adil khan , Farukh etc)
Next time, AIFF must club both head coach, Indian arrows coach & technical director job and pay a higher salary.... Anyway head coach will remain idle during rest of the season, during which he can do the other roles.....
