How can a team whose defence was "in sixes and sevens" against a reserve/youth team be called one of the "best sides of the tourney"?

I guess that shows the quality of the tourney. Others have been worse.

But I think somehow EB will beat GKFC, borja will mark Marcus and then Bidyasagar will score to make EB win

My bet also on EB.  Last year MB had Sony Kisseka nd Dipanda. Result every body knew.

Eb don't have Jobby,danmawia,and chullova now.

Also no Accosta and Esqueda. Chullova isn't such a big loss as Danmaiwa Ralte though!
