@SiV: That is why it is better to make a thread when we have sufficient information about the match...about one week before the scheduled match perhaps. (Incidentally what is the venue of this match, i.e the stadium in which the match will be played?)
@sparta: I get your point, but asking the Admin/mods to "prescribe a format" would be destroying the air of informality of a discussion forum and making it somewhat academic. As @namewtheld once said in a different context, this is one of those forums which have minimum admin intervention. Of course, creation of a match day thread should include some basic points which @dev_pfc and I have suggested. Admins and other members could all come up with their suggestions. Those who wish to create threads could also get an idea by consulting the previews in the "Matchday Threads" and "Indian Football Team" categories.
@Ronny: The problem is that while creating the thread, a proper preview of the match (in the lines of match day threads that have been created earlier) should have been posted which has not been done in this case. In a match day thread, one should not merely list the players from ISL the NT coach should consider for selection in the team. This is what members have pointed out.
