@Ashlesh if this news is correct, thats the same thing I was predicting. AFC criteria about stadium is stringent. Now if AIFF pays rent for Dempo for Pune Stadium, air India and Mumbai FC will look like fools becoz they are paying rent of Pune Stadium and playing in front of empty stadium as Cooperage Stadium is under renovation. Moreover Dempo may get fined and even banned for 3 years from any AFC competition. Now I think Churchill Brothers will be replacement team instead of Dempo.
Lets hope I am wrong because I dont think Dempo can be that unprofessional. Moreover, if they decide not to play, AFC will impose a fine of 20000 dollars on Dempo which is more then what they will pay for renting Pune Balewadi for 3 home group matches. And there is one mistake in sportskeeda article. AFC gives 20000 dollars for each away match-not for all the matches. I want Dempo to play and win AFC cup. ;;)

Also , we shouldn't write off Joaquim Abranches just yet, with a good provider & once he gets used to Sueko, he could start to add a few goals to the team.
Offei can play GPL, the club can sign a 5th foreigner as they have only registered 3 in the I-League, they can loan a player too from another I-League club & release Offei or Ricketts in January

Good to see Abranches scoring , easy goal after Romeo had done brilliantly.
