I told you guys beforehand only that Tilak Maidan is not even close to AFC cup norms. It will be difficult for AFC cup matches at Tilak Maidan. Now as per news, that is the case.
Goan teams are better on bigger grounds as they use the width of the pitch.
If you see Churchill at Pune and Shillong were poor on the small grounds, but were good at fatorda and salt lake.
Same is the case with Dempo. Since Goan teams play the passing game and not hit and run.

@munna. Good try mate. I meant to say that Goan team will not win league if matches are played at tilak.
This ground does not suit the style of the goan teams.

How?

Does the size of the pitch really matter. BTW its not passing game when you only cross and punch up the pitch.
Dont compare with EPL passing standards. Lets talk as per I league std.
Lets wait and see what happens at Tilak. But whenever i hv been to tilak, I have seen disgraceful play. Anyways hoping for the best.
