Much better game than last night. Thoroughly enjoyed. Mumbai looked a class team, so did north east. It was such a shame that there wasn't 11 v 11 for the entire second half. Overall good game
Ogbeche and Le Fondre were big duds. Cy Goddard looked good. Fox impressed for NE. Great game by Ninthoi and Lalempuia..this is the kind of team Komal and Boris should have joined
Le Fondre's signing was supposed to be the deal of the season but I failed to locate him during the match...ditto for Ogbeche. Goddard was very industrious. Camara was very good and rightly deserved the Hero of the Match
Happy for Trivandrum boy Britto PM who made his debut today.
He is from the fishing village of Pozhiyoor, right on the border between Trivandrum & Tamil Nadu. Soosairaj & Regin's village is just on the other side of the border. Rajesh S of GKFC is also from Pozhiyoor. That area is a talent hotbed for football, but due poor scouting, most of them tend to take up fishing as livelihood. Chennai City recently started trails there after emergence of Soosairaj. Jobby Justin is also from a coastal area in TVM district, but it's inside the city. Very few depend on fishing there.
"Any news on Michael Soosairaj injury? Hope it's nothing serious"
.ATK Mohun Bagan winger Michael Soosairaj is likely to be sidelined for a month after suffering a knee injury in Friday's Indian Super League (ISL 2020-21) clash against Kerala Blasters.
The 25-year-old is also set to miss the ISL's first-ever Kolkata derby match when ATK Mohun Bagan takes on rival SC East Bengal on November 27.
According to a team source, Soosairaj has a swelling on his knee and will undergo an MRI scan on Sunday to determine the extent of what appears to be a suspected Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.
Ogbeche doesn't fit Lobera's system. He isn't someone like Coro who can play a big part in there build up make excellent runs and can also create spaces for others to score.
Ogbeche is a typical old fashioned no 9. He was successful at both NEUFC and KBFC because both where defensive sides who'd manage to get him through on counter attacks.
He is not going to be successful at a team which likes to build up play from the back. It will be easier for sides who have a compact defense to easily mark him out and prevent him from getting any sort of balls to attack.
It was surprising Lobera went for Ogbeche rather than going for Coro. Don't think he'd be successful.
Adam le Fondre is a very good striker he was played as a winger which is not his best position.
