@thebeautifulgame I don't want to contest anything. It's my observation. And my observation says HFC looked good because OFC midfield and defense made them look good. Had there been a defensively solid side like ATKMB or BFC, you would have understood what I'm trying to explain here. HFC full backs and midfielders won't get this much space to pass and roam around freely in the opposition half. About Liston, he has good basic skills like, holding/receiving/dribbling. He needs to work on his upper body strength if he wants to have a fruitful international career. Now a days players are payed handsomely, so there is no reason why they can't hire a personal trainer who would look after them during off season. It's not about liston, I'm talking for all the indian boys. They need to invest on their physical development in order to compete internationally. Have to admit one good thing that I've noticed this season and that's really good improvement in our players that there is a good composer shown almost by everybody when opponent is pressing hard. There is very little hopeless long balls due to the pressure created by the opponent and players look comfortable and confident with ball on feet. Where we are lacking at the moment, is the tactical sense or vision while moving forward. I'm pretty sure in coming days we'll be able to overcome that hurdle as well.
Michael Soosairaj has an ACL Grade 3 injury. He is expected to undergo surgery next week, and will remain out of action for the next six months or more.
Liston is quite a surprise (mainly because I didn't see any HFC matches in the final league stretch last season). definitely someone to look forward too. and definitely better than Udanta and Ashique. that turn was quite impressive.
