good. from 2021-22 season, ISL will be under testing with previous versions on quality.
all these years many became fan of isl clubs because of non footballing reasons. even the sachin fans for kbfc. well we got rid of plastic fans.
cetrain people followed ISL because of marquee players like PIRES, trezeguet, luis garcia, anelka etc.
now many actually became interested in indian football and subsequently helped in national team matches. we have offical fans group now, away fans traveling helping tourism.
but all these years isl got better of i league because of the foriegn players in the team which made the game look good while seeing on tv, stadium.
@indian_gooner , please don't start the debate again. ISL is getting the better of IL because of deliberate strangling of IL by AIFF-FSDL. No transmission of IL, multi-modal transmission and canned applauses of ISL, fixture uncertainty of IL are the reasons. Quality? Last year's MB would fight equally with ATK, so would previous year's CCFC with Chennaiyin, if number of foreigners are kept equal. Also, IL has given birth of so many young footballers and new clubs even in these uncertain times.
Another heavyweight investor to challenge the money power of MB, EB & MCFC next season.. The are a professional club , with emphasis on merit. Very good for indian football. Marcus did not indicate with whom they are in talks.
Chennai City taking over CFC with money from Fcbasel is another good thing.. Will certainly get quality coaches & players from there... The present cfc mgmt works part-time & will be a good riddance @mohammed_87hassan

State leagues and 2nd division also needs some restructuring and a good financial model. It can't continue at the amateur level any more.
