Every year JFC impresses in the first half and then they will go on to draw or loose in the final half. Even if players are different results are same and they keep on fighting for the 5th position
“I am certainly not under pressure. I think people need to understand where we are as a club. Considering the type of players we have, regardless of whether people like this or not, we were built for I-League. So, give us some credit for showing the fight,” said the Englishman [Robbie Fowler] when quizzed whether the pressure to bring home the first win cost him the game.
1) He should make it clear when he says "players" whether he means Indian players solely or foreigners too. If he includes foreign players, then he himself is to be blamed because they were all hand-picked by him. Why did he choose the abysmally performing Scot Neville or the utterly unfit Holloway?
2) Why did it take so long for him to understand that the players are of, in his words, "I-League" quality? (Many of the players--Indians and foreigners-- in the I-League are actually way better than those of his team). Why were some of the players--like Samad--loaned out without allowing them to play even for a few minutes in a single match? He should understand that a coach who continually blames his players often tends to lose his dressing room.
EB's fighting game against Chennaiyin was very impressive! Changte got a well deserved goal. No other Indian player currently has the ability to convert that kind of opportunity into a goal
Eelco Schattotie and Robbie Fowler had a heated argument on TV
Elco said there was no depth in midfield of eb. Fowler got pissed and said it’s easy to talk things sitting in studio right to his face
Eelco pointed out depth in tactics, Fowler started crying saying about his squad(built for ILeague excuse)U guys shouldnt do thease to us who are less prepared. We know we have a poor squad
Fowler told Eelco that his time at EB can't be compared to his as he team is playing at higher level then Eelcos EB which played I league.

I remember once a linesman awarded offside for throw-in in the I-League.
People are just realising it now.
