First of all great result. Few things - 1. Dheeraj - Did not face much challenge, made couple of save when required. What I am trying to say is he is not tested in this match. Thanks to Ivan Gonzales and Donache. But he was nervy and did not take a single long goal kick. Might be part of strategy. 2. Ishan - He should be praised for his continuous chasing, clearing header during corner. Good attitude and work ethics unlike Robin Singh of CS Sabith. He is positive with limited ability. I feel he simply still learning the game. When you are playing a heavy weight opponent you need to hold the ball atleast for 5 secs before loosing possession to give your midfielders little time. Liston in loan would have been a fantastic win-win. 3. Edu, Ortiz, Ivan - Awesome to say the least. Ortiz hold the ball well, dribbled passed in couple of occasions earned free kicks, could been a double yellow for no 2 of rayan. Edu carried the team. Made himself available always. Never panicked. Ivan was equally good but that last moment yellow card for reaction was silly. 4. Glan, Brandon, Seriton - Performed beyond their physical and footballing ability. Good thing they did not get carried away. Whenever they got the ball tried to play passes and keep the possession. Its never easy to keep a player like Brahimi in check. Glan , Seriton should be in NT. 5. FCG could have got a penalty and rayan should have reduced to 10. Ortiz was badly fouled atleast 3 times by no 2 and the hand ball.
Liston could never be loaned to FCG. At the time of ACL registration ISL was still going on and no team would let their players leave to other clubs unless they are useless or not required example Adil Khan
Great performance by FCG. Right attitude shown by players playing against big opponents. All credits to Juan Ferrando. After watching lousy Indian team against UAE I thought this would be the same but really kudos to Juan. I hope Stimac is watching and learns something.
Thanks to Fcgoa and Juan Fernando for giving some good moments for the indian fans after that UAE game.
Juan Fernando has worked hard, stayed put with the team, , overcame covid (he almost lost his career due to an eye infection) and yet was bold enough to be here.
I like stimac for his marketing skills, the way he presurizes indian plyrs to go for gametime (he said ishan pandita must find another club if he could not find game time) etc. But disappointed that he goes straight to Croatia after that UAE game... In india, true that the system is not good, no game time etc... Then the coach needs to step up and work hard.. (there is a technical director called isac doru, who has
He could have come to India, set up a bubble, bring all those probable indian football players to the bubble and organise some India A, India B and India C informal tournament. Instead he goes back and doing work from home. Indian players are idling at home.... And then test all of them against a team like UAE shattering the confidence of the players as well as fans....

Good shot in the first half which Al Rayyan goalie parried away
