I came to read that J league has 9 partner nations namely Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia and Qatar. Why cant AIFF tie with J League or such top leagues so that our young players get some quality experience. In 2018, Hadi Fayyadh (19 years old) from Malaysia became the first Malaysian to play in J2 league. He played 17 matches and scored 11 goals.
@Ronny I don't know, what do you expect. You're saying fans should not bombard him or pressure him. Common he is having a easy ride because he is coaching our country. Imagine the pressure he would have got say if he was coaching in europe. He is a national teach coach pressure is bound to be there.
I used to defend him in the initial games. Now after covid I think he should start delivering or move on.
No I think pressure is good on Stimac. He needs to sort his playing 11 fast. The difficult part is that so many new players have been performing well and his original team with Udanta,Sahal,Thapa, Adil,Amarjit etc that got him the results against Thailand,Qatar etc is not in form at all. I feel like he literally is having to make a new team in each camp because of player injuries and form. This time we have a Long camp let's see what happens. Not sure if the team will get any friendlies though
Stimac must have come to India after the UAE game, set up a bubble, called out 60 nos idle indian footballers in home & organise a few matches between them to know who is good and who is bad...
He needs to work harder as the coach of national team, coz here we donot have a proper structure. Instead, he has gone back to Croatia and wasting time. Most national team coaches wont get time with plyers coz of club committments.
Here he gets so much time to work with most of the players , so much to teach them (due to poor basics) and yet he goes back to Croatia (despite staying back throughout the 4 month ISL season).... Guess we need a Coach who works hard to succeed here .... Atleast put the hard work, show the attitude Mr Stimac.. Indian football fans will respect you for the effort made despite failures....
