Hyderabad FC recently signed former KBFC U18 coach Shameel C as reserve team coach. This player was scouted by him from KPL. Abdul played for Luca SC. He will play for HFC reserve team (HFC inherited Pune City's reserve team).

Kerala football has been a mess for quite some time now. But this year's KPL was a step forward. I just hope that they don't go that FSDL way they are planning.
HFC don’t announce reserve signings. He is mostly signed for ISL as backup in Right back position. They just released one RB - Khongsit

Hyderabad FC don't have a backing like BFC, Mumbai , ATK MB & Goa. They can't pay transfer fee as well can't pay huge salaries. At-least we should be happy, Young Indian players getting enough chances to excel :)

Though Varun Tripuraneni over-seeing Hyd FC operations, he might be having less than 10% stake. Included Rana Daggubati as co-owner just for marketing purpose. He might be having less than 5% stake.

Majority of stake is owned by Vijay Madduri. Their sponsorship money is less compared to other ISL clubs. Also I'm suspecting Hyd FC might be having some backing from FSDL. ashindia can confirm on this.

I agree that HFC hasn’t done much in terms of youth development. But we have got to accept the fact that HFC gives platform to many rejects/flops and young players at top level under an amazing manager like Manolo.

I am not sure about the stake % but as far as I know all three of them invest money. Yes also their season budget is amongst the least in ISL

@ashindia True, I completely agree to the part of giving chances to youngsters. What I can't accept is when a 2 year old club says we are doing youth development and claim Rohit danu or Sweden as their youth product. It just rubs bad when they haven't done it yet. also when they inherited the defunct pune fc youth team. What are they doing with them ? Do they have any sort of youth development program ? Please share some light!  🖐️

This article says Joni Kauko will be a Marquee for playing in Euro. Has the rules been changed this season?

Currently Joni Kauko is playing in Danish 2nd tier with Esbjerg. Though they have done well in 2018-19 by finishing 3rd in top tier. But in 2019-20 , they got relegated to 2nd tier.  They will still play in 2nd tier (2021-22) as they finished the season (2020-21) in 3rd. Only top 2 teams gets promoted to top tier.

I don't think he will qualify as Marquee. He never played in top 5 European leagues.
Also It might be exception for few clubs/players , but Salaries in Danish second division are not higher and ISL clubs can afford.

Joni Kauko won't be a marquee signing. The reporter may be confused.
