Why was this exemption done ?

If Institutional Quarantine was enforced, Indian Team and some other players would not have suffered due to Corona.

An interesting fact: From a total 12 teams participated, 10 of them were from East Asia (SE & East). 

Only two from the rest (Iran, India) and both didn't make it into knockouts.

yes. i think gulf countries have conservative laws which prevent women's football growth. so we must utilize these times as an opportunity and qualify for WC.

I was shocked when I saw that Philippines qualified, but after checking their squad it’s basically USA H team.

Yes that's why Phillipines played really well against Australia too..Vietnam also qualified. there were so many spots up for grabs..I think we would have somehow sneaked in too

The remaining quarter-finalists Taiwan and Thailand qualified to intercontinental playoffs to be played in Australia & New Zealand.

Even this would have been a good exposure for us.
