Cleiton, I am not sure if EB deserves him. Hope they build a better team with retaining him. Complete overhaul is never a solution. He was a true leader though never complained and kept doing his part and motivated everyone around. EB will be the lucky one in this deal for sure
EB for once are actually smart. Extending his deal before the season ends. Cleiton is a proven player for 3 years in ISL and probably would've been easily persuaded had the season ended and other clubs started preparing for next season
Personally, I have always longed to see a Brazilian forward at EB, and this year we have two (not counting Lima, who is a midfielder). The last prominent Brazilian forward that I remember at EB was Edmilson Marques. Not sure how Eliandro would turn out to be, but I have always been a fan of Cleiton. Even if he doesn't score, the energy and effort that he brings to the field is inspiring.
Feels good that my assessment of Cleiton at the beginning of the season has been vindicated!
