Should get a call up to U23 team. However, getting released from the club for national duty can be tricky, especially if it doesn't fall in FIFA window.
Ever since he got opportunity to go to Spain on 2018 from global Premier school he has stayed and studied there along with few more people. But I think this move has never helped him to get to his level perhaps. He still has time on his side to try his luck.
So much our media hyped like he will be a sure starter. He has impressed so far but he did not make it to the bench on the first leg. They have a one goal advantage. So he might be in contention for the next game. Hope he makes it to the bench!
Som Kumar is still in Olimpija Ljubljana U19 squad. He is the first choice goalkeeper in the team and played in the league opener yesterday (U19 League).
Got some stats regarding his previous seasons too.
In 21/22 season, he was in U17 league and started 24 out of 26 games for his team Krka U17. The team finished 3rd out of 14 teams.
In 22/23 season, he graduated to Krka U19, however played only 1 match out of the first 15. He moved to Olimpija Ljubljana U19 midseason, and towards the end of the season, became the first choice keeper and played the last 5 matches. Ljubljana finished 2nd in the league out of 14 teams.
