Ivan is the signing of the season for sure. Rarely you see such tall players with this level of grace, quick feet and pressing. He is doing a different role in the last 2 games by starting to play deep. But yet when there was a chance he scored that thunderbolt from his left foot.
It is earlier to judge. Even I feel Ivan & Dimitri Petratos are two best signings in this season.
Josep Gombau proved today why the the late Subhash Bhowmick used to say that "coaches earn their bread at half-time".
Odisha FC seemed to be down and out, they were trailing 0-2 at the break but they came back in the second half firing on all cylinders. The coach made four substitutions at the break and voila! the impact that they made. Pedro Martins scored two in two minutes, Jerry scored the third. East Bengal, who seemed to be waltzing at half-time were outrun, outmuscled, outhought and outplayed in the second half and crumbled to a 2-4 defeat
Might as well name this match "A Tale of Two Halves"!!

But gotta appreciate SC for holding Odisha 2-0 with that shit squad of EB
I think ISL can improve Indian football a lot of it's a 8 month league with 30+ matches
Also it's still disappointing to see teams not have a proper U-19 team. Some even admitted they'll bring in guys from other state via agents before the 1 month elite league starts
Youth football is a perfect way to build community support for football clubs by signing local lads, training them in hopes of bringing them up to first team. But ISL clubs are still driven by results that they are alright in bringing age frauds from other states and field an U-23 team for an U-19 league
Josep Gombau's Odisha FC continues to impress. Nanda Kumar scored a last moment goal to help his side beat Chennaiyin 3-2
Nasser El Khayati might turn out to be an underrated but hugely inspirational signing...4 goals and 1 assist in 4 matches (that too in the starting eleven not even once and not even playing for a total of 150 mins.)!!

Kauko and Kattimani's absence will hit their teams hard
