So, after the Spanish invasion, there seems to be a Ghanaian invasion in Indian football, particularly in the I-League.
Incidentally, players from Ghana have been playing in Indian football for a long time. However, in contrast to the large number of players who have played in the I-League and other state leagues, the number of footballers to have played in the ISL has been significantly low. ↓↓ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_foreign_football_players_in_India (this list is however not comprehensive I think, it does not include Kerala Blaster's Kwame Peprah)
Augustine Okrah (NEUFC), Asamoah Gyan (NEUFC), Kwesi Appiah (NEUFC), Courage Pekuson (Kerala Blasters), David Addy (Delhi Dynamos), Francis Dadzie (NEUFC), Richard Gadze (Delhi Dynamos), Kwame Karikari (Chennaiyin FC) and Kwame Peprah (Kerala Blasters) are the only 9 players to have played in the ISL that I could locate.
