Give the kids a chance. Keep your politics and rumour mucks out of range from our boys.

They can do whatever they wish till the U-17 world cup. Thats what they are scouted and drafted for.

Well they can do whatever they want even in the World Cup. But that is besides the point. What politics? I am not proposing candidacy against Praful Patel. They are getting all the chance and they will keep getting. That doesn't stop us fans from questioning what we see. Keep your idiotic remarks to yourself, please!

Seriously Question what? What's idiotic is posters typing conspiracies on how Metz team, German teams could have been a poor side just to give this Indian side a win instead of analyzing how these boys played. What brownie points do they achieve by posting a win in FB?
Not everything needs to is a conspiracy or something fishy for people to "Raise questions".

Another idiotic thing is to not connect everything to PP, IMG, ISL Blah blah.

@DX You are paranoid. I think Deepak is riding your mind. Where did you see me blaming ISL, PP and all the things you are sensitive about? I just pointed out the inconsistency. Plain and simple. On a more serious note, you may wanna take some days off this forum or better consult psychiatrist. You are seeing things that aren't there

Why would Metz play their "2nd string team" now? There are no international or local youth tournaments or leagues undergoing now as it is the summer. Besides, there are no "2nd string team" at a club youth level. The teams at a youth level will always be in a state of flux as players from the younger age groups are being slowly included in older age groups. Good academies do this regularly. At international level, there will be "experimental" sides, like ours in the SAFF U16 championship earlier last year.

While it is difficult to judge youth teams properly, they are capable of decent performances too.

So was this 2015-16 Metz U-17 team playing their last matches or a promoted younger age-group team for 2016-17 Metz U-17 with few trial players also been given some chances?

There might be a few youngsters who are promoted, but not an entire team. Players are gradually included in the older age groups based on the growth of a player in the younger age group. This is done throughout the season, and will never be done altogether as an entire team.

Metz is a team that survives on youth policy. They constantly bring in young players and sell them on at a later stage and recoup money through their sales. While there are teams who uses their youth academy to build their senior team (Ajax, Bilbao, Schalke, Barcelona, Lyon, Southampton, Santos, Sporting all at some levels), and there are teams with excellent youth academies but don't utilize them as effectively (Spurs, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real, Man City, Arsenal, Wolfsburg, PSG, Porto), there are teams that survive by providing excellent youth setups, but cannot do so at the senior level (Crewe, Metz, Beerschot and Lens).

Over the past 10 years or so, the following players were took in by Metz (often because other academies passed on these players as not being good enough):

Cisse, Pjanic, Obraniak, Koulibali, Mane, Adebayor, Bassong, Saha.

arre baba.. Had to check twice to see who is paranoid.

Happy to find out am not the paranoid one when a simple friendly by kids is blown out of proportions to find out "something suspicious" about the way we play against academies and national teams.
    Chillout man.
