I missed the game against Botswana on 28 Feb 2016 which was a 10-1 win. (Abhijit with 6 goals, Komal with 2, Suresh and Sajeev with 1 goals in that match).
So, over the course of 11 months, that's about 40 matches played (excluding the first 3 matches in Germany for which I could not find any articles), 22 wins, 11 loses and 7 draws with 130 goals scored, 60 goals conceded playing in Germany, Austria, Spain, Iran, UAE, South Africa, Luxembourg and India.
Top scorers during this period are: Aman Chetri (18), Aniket Jadhav (15), Komal Thatal (16), Amarjit Kiyam (14), Abhijit Sarkar (12), Suresh Wangjam (8), Ninthoi Meetei (8) and Boris Thangjam (6).
I should mention that Aman's goals has dried up recently as has Aniket's but Komal seems to be scoring with more frequency now. It also appears that Aman misses a lot of chances.
@RealAG good points..just to add to that, Amarjit scores mostly from the penalties..Aman and Aniket are not able to score against tougher opposition..Abhijit was probably added after the AFC qualifiers in the team..we still need more scoreres or probably new faces.same set of boys may be good but missing the extra spark..I know we are expecting way too much from them...eventually goals scored will help us win..hope to see the new boys in action soon
@Ronny Yes, Amarjit does score most of his goals from the penalty spot, but I have yet to hear about him missing a penalty except 1 in Germany I think. Also he is a central midfield player alongside the more defensive Suresh, so that is a very healthy goal return.
Komal, Amarjit, Suresh and Boris seem to be the stand outs, and I would not be surprised if all of them are picked up by clubs in Europe.
